If you've been looking for ways to be a good ally and be anti-racist in the way you work, think and navigate the world, then this free training program is for you.

The program is the perfect platform to develop your understanding of structural racism and your skills in challenging racism and oppression when you see it.

The 2 engaging and interactive online workshops are designed to develop racial literacy, empathy, and understanding of race-related issues and identities, alongside tools, skills and strategies for intervention in your everyday life.

Using a combination of group work, role play, and personal reflection, these workshops develop capacity for solidarity, accountability and bystander intervention.

The training program consists of 2 workshops delivered online using Zoom. Participants need to commit to attending both workshops.

Workshop 1: Monday 29 November, 2021, What do you know about race and racism workshop

Workshop 2: Thursday 2 December, 2021, Bystander Action Workshop. A separate Outlook invitation will be sent to you to register for Workshop 2.

This training session is for a minimum of 15 participants and maximum of 25 participants. This is to maintain the integrity of learning and safety.

What do you know about race and racism session is a 101 workshop and only register if your purpose for attending is for learning and developing your own knowledge (Active participation is required rather than observing or to see what it's like).

Bookings are essential.
