Featuring 18 North Shore artists, 'Art for Air' brings together the broad but exciting contemporary work of a new all female focus, curated by artist, teacher and curator, Rachel Carroll.
In addition, each artist is donating a 5 x 8' artwork to fundraise for UNICEF: Air for India, COVID-19 Crisis Emergency Appeal.
Featured artists include: Pam Booth, Rachel Buxton, Jemima Carroll, Frances Dawe, Peta Dzubiel, Fiona Johnson, Marta Madison, Holly Mahoney, Tania Murphy, Susan Ogilvie, Deanne Palmer, Susan Patrick, Penny Polkinghorne, Cass Sofia, Helen Stark, Lisa Shaw, Phillippa Thomas and Kristyn Taylor.
Accompanying the exhibition, demonstrations in encaustic painting, ceramics and monoprinting are on offer, as well as yoga with a creative twist! The Closing Event on 6 June, presents a Book Launch by Marta Madison and Artist Talks, from 11am to 1pm. See website for details and registration information.
