Escape to an oasis in the centre of the city's harbour-side celebrations this Australia Day, for a free, fun and family-friendly experience at Government House, Sydney.
From 10 am to 5 pm on Thursday 26 January, discover Sydney's 'Castle by the Harbour'. Explore the exquisite State rooms, picnic in the magnificent gardens, check out fire engines, or simply enjoy the great music on offer.
The Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, said 'Dennis and I invite you to come and enjoy this special day at the House. The beautiful Eastern Terrace garden will be in full bloom, and our friendly guides will be on hand to show you around.'
The thoroughly entertaining Corrective Services NSW Band and the Fire and Rescue NSW Band will provide the soundtrack to a wonderful day out.
