Through popular, poignant and haunting music theatre melodies, 'Bare' weaves a chilling narrative into a musical cabaret. Rose's world has been turned upside down from one swipe right on a dating app. She finds herself under intense scrutiny as she is interrogated about the sudden disappearance and murder of her abusive ex-boyfriend, Jonathan Bloom. As the lavender haze begins to clear, the true nature of their toxic relationship reveals itself and the events of Jonathan's fateful night begins to unfold. Rose has a strong motive and no alibi, it seems almost certain that she did it... but did she?
The show navigates the complexities of human relationships, delving into and challenging perceptions on the darker shades of love and the extent to which innocence can become entangled in toxicity.
This is a night of mystery led by a cast of talented emerging musical theatre artists and creatives in Sydney.
