During this 6-week course our experienced tutor will teach you how to see the world in a new light through drawing and painting. You will gain an understanding of how to use acrylic paint on paper and canvas.
Each week you'll learn a new technique based on form, tone, composition and colour principles.
You'll discover the work of local and international artists and gain an understanding of how their work addresses the techniques you're learning.
At the end of the course, you'll feel comfortable to begin your own self-directed practice, and you'll have a new appreciation of visual and technical processes through which art is created.
Full instruction is provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures.
Intimate class size: maximum 8 students
Level: designed for beginner level students
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
Bring: yourself - all materials provided
