Chatswood prestigious lunar new year celebrations are back!

The Chatswood Year of the Tiger Festival will be a collection of COVID-safe events celebrating luck, prosperity and good health for the new year ahead. Featuring art, music, performance, food, and traditional cultural celebrations, the 2022 festival will be our most vibrant to date.

You’ll be in stitches as of Australia’s funniest Asian-Australian comedians combine for the Lunar New Year Comedy Festival. Experience the best Asian-Australian pop, RnB, and electronic artists at Chatswood Tiger Beats, a free outdoor concert series with a popup bar.

Feel inspired at a series of exhibitions and artworks across the city including a major new installation of a mother and baby tigers by acclaimed artist Simone Chua from Amigo and Amigo.

The popular Golden Market returns. It’s your chance to enjoy stalls selling Asian and international food, gifts and decorations. Discover the best places to eat and drink in our curated food trails and enjoy classical music and opera performances.

Come back soon for the full schedule of events.
