Christmas Eve, it's a day that gets a little lost in the heady rush of Christmas, Boxing Day and of course new years in Australia.
It also has a storied history particularly across Europe; in Sweden they open their presents and have their big meal on Christmas eve and the children are expected to leave out a bowl of porridge to get their gifts! In the Netherlands they think Santa comes from Spain not the North Pole and in Finland they call Santa the 'Christmas Goat'.
