Connect Sydney is a City of Sydney program, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training.

This training is for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.

If you want to develop useful strategies for establishing successful partnerships as well as gain tools for working collaboratively, this is the training for you!

Learn to build your capacity to lead successful partnerships and collaborative efforts as you gain practical strategies and skills to establish, lead, manage and sustain partnerships, confidently address partnership challenges as well as gain insight into Asset Based Community Development.

Due to limited spaces please nominate 1 - 2 staff from your organisation to register for this workshop.

In this interactive training program you will learn:

  • The different types of collaboration

  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships

  • Getting it right from the beginning

  • Establishing a partnership team

  • Good partnership management

  • Responding to Partnership Challenges

  • Review and Evaluating partnerships

The training will be delivered by ACWA.
