This workshop is part of the City of Sydney's Connect Sydney program, supported by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training.
This training is primarily for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
If you want to strengthen your skills and experience in running and planning, executing, and evaluating projects and events, this is the training for you.
Workshop topics include:
• Introduction to planning projects and events
• Scope documents
• Proposals and finding services, and suppliers
• Budgets
• Time management
• Legal requirements - including fundraising
• Staff and volunteer management
• Evaluation and reporting
The training session is limited 40 participants and places are limited to 2 people per organisation. Priority is given to community organisations that operate within the City of Sydney's local area. Businesses are not eligible to take part.
The training is delivered by iClick2learn.
