Features interdisciplinary artist Angie Contini, and multi-instrumentalist Jac Beth
Lean into these relaxed and inspiring sessions devised to introduce visual artists, writers and imaginators to the curious phenomena of synaesthesia, where sounds, images and words intertwine, enchant and invoke one another.
As Jac Beth's live music animates the gallery space, let serpentine soundscapes, enigmatic rhythms and haunting refrains provoke your pen and inspire your imagination.
The session runs a little like a life drawing class, with 2 sets of timed musical 'poses' for you to write, scratch, draw, mark, improvise and play with, and a short break in between sets.
BYO art and writing materials
All kinds of artists welcome, no experience necessary
Suitable for ages 14+ if accompanied with an adult
