From their beginnings in an Indiana basement (where as college students they recorded their 2016 debut LP), the band has been catapulted into the soul limelight and onto the international stage. Their synthy modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings are anchored by the high-low harmonies of Aaron Frazer and Durand Jones, while their mastery at melding revival sounds with a modern attitude makes their music timeless yet as fresh as clean kicks. 'At the end of the day, I just want people to close their eyes and forget where they are. Just the way a Stevie Wonder album does for me' says Jones.
