In 2022, award-winning electronic music duo Electric Fields (Zaachariaha Fielding, lead vocals, and Michael Ross, producer), made their orchestral debut featuring their original compositions and traditional inma songs with the MSO as part of NAIDOC week.

The MSO and Electric Fields will perform the duo's work with their music, including some new songs for this performance, arranged for orchestra by Alex Turley, MSO 2022 Cybec Young Composer in Residence.

This year has already seen Electric Fields perform We the People, the official theme song of the 2023 Sydney World Pride to a crowd of 20,000 people at the Opening Concert at the Domain in Sydney.

The duo's music, described as 'emotionally moving and breathtaking', combines pop, soul and electronica with intimate storytelling. Zaachariaha's extraordinary vocals often include the traditional languages of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara people as Z channels a performance unlike any other.
