The Universe is full of the biggest and most powerful objects … and sometimes they explode and collide!
As part of National Science Week, the ANU Astronomy Society invites you to attend a talk presented by Dr Brad Tucker from Mount Stromlo Observatory as he explores how active our Universe truly is, from exploding starts to colliding galaxies and black holes (even crashing space stations and powerful space lasers!).
The event will feature an hour presentation, with the opportunity to ask questions throughout, followed by a 30 minute pre-recorded stargazing session starting at around 9pm. The presentation will be delivered via Facebook Live on our very own ANU Astronomy Society Facebook Page, which you can get to via the following link:
