Soroptimist International (SI) is a global volunteer movement which advocates for human rights and gender equality. SI Randwick Eastern Suburbs fosters a sense of local community and inclusion throughout Randwick Eastern Suburbs, while supporting projects for women and children.
We currently engage in charitable projects in partnership with organisations including the Royal Hospital for Women, Jarrah House, Wayside Chapel, La Perouse Public School and other local schools, and Youth off the Streets.
Our Extraordinary Women Speakers Series features inspirational women and male champions of change from diverse backgrounds. The monthly Q&A sessions provide a unique space to connect individuals and local organisations, and give some 'sparkle and shine' back to the local community during challenging times. Attendance is FREE of charge.
Guest speakers for the Speakers Series Launch event at 6-7pm on Wednesday 6 October 2021 via Zoom are:
the Honourable Helen Sham-Ho OAM (何沈慧霞)
