The Opportunity Class (OC) and Selective High School exams are highly competitive, and well-prepared students have a distinct advantage.
Our free Mock Test offers your child the chance to:
- Familiarise themselves with the format, timing, and question types they will encounter.
- Practise under timed conditions, honing their ability to stay focused and manage time effectively.
- Receive a performance report that provides detailed insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.
Current students in Year 3 & 4 are invited to sit the Mock OC Test and those in Year 5 & 6 are invited to sit the Mock Selective High School Test.
About the Mock OC & Selective School Test Day
Year 3 - 4 Mock OC Test
Test structure:
The Mock OC Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It is 75 minutes in total, including test administration. It has 3 separate test components:
- English 20 MCQ (20 min)
- Maths20 MCQ (20 min)
- Critical Thinking20 MCQ (20 min)
Date: Saturday 12 April 2025
Location and Time:
- Matrix Castle Hill, Chatswood, Epping, Hurstville, Liverpool, Strathfield, and Parramatta campus
- 10:00am - 11:15am
After the test:
In the weeks following the Mock Test, you'll receive an in-depth diagnostic report delivering insights into your child's performance, including:
- How their test scores compare to those of other students
- Their performance in each section of the exam
- Recommendations for better exam preparation and improvement
Year 5 - 6 Mock Selective School Test
Test structure:
The Mock Selective High School Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It is 120 minutes in total, including test administration. It has 3 separate test components:
- English 25 MCQ (30 min)
- Maths 25 MCQ (30 min)
- Critical Thinking 40 MCQ (45 min)
