Following their sold-out inaugural event in 2020, Crypto-Art curators, Future Art will return to Sydney for a collaborative exhibition in partnership with Yahoo and Samsung Electronics for the launch of VIVID SYDNEY 2022 on Friday, 27 May 2022 from 7pm.
Future Art is Vivid brings the exploding digital art scene to the main stage at Home The Venue in Darling Harbour. New artworks from the world's biggest crypto-artists will be revealed and an exclusive series of collectible NFT art drops will occur during the evening. Tickets are on sale now.
Future Art is the brainchild of Sydney-based crypto art curator Sats Moon in collaboration with Potbelleez Producer and DJ Dave Goode who are pioneers of the Australian digital art scene.
This one-night-only immersive NFT Crypto-Art event fuses large-scale HD projections with live music, DJs, and Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality lounges and cocktail bars. Performances from renowned music artists will include Black Angus from Sneaky Sound System, Dave Goode from Future Art, Ciaran Gribbin formerly of INXS, Ilan Kidron from The Potbelleez, and more.
Digital art has boomed into a multi-billion-dollar global market. Future Art is Vivid has been curated as a multi-sensory journey to remodel your experience of contemporary art. Guests can view artworks via the Samsung TV's and can interact with the artworks directly through smart devices, to discover the talents of artists including The Sarah Show (USA), Coldie (USA), EM! (Japan), Giant Swan (Australia), Marc-O-Matic (Australia), and Sydney's own Robson and Serwah Attafuah, along with collectible NFT art from Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks.
Guests will also be treated to the Australian premiere of the international award-winning virtual reality experience, 'Tree'. This global phenomenon immerses viewers into the lifetime of a tree, from a seedling to a full-grown rainforest.
Media and tech powerhouse Yahoo is supporting the event, diving deep into the stories behind headline artists and using immersive technology to bring their artworks to life in augmented reality. Attendees will be able to step inside works by Serway Attefuah and Em! At Home Venue, Vivid Lightwalk or at home.
Samsung will provide its industry-leading Neo QLED TV from its versatile portfolio to display the vibrant NFTS during the 'Future Art is Vivid' event. The use of these state of the art TVs will provide an opportunity for guests to experience the emerging ideas and aesthetic in its true form.
