Champagne's lesser-known, and mostly misunderstood, side consists of a stratum of producers who grow their own grapes, and make their own wine, rather than supplying the bigger Houses.
They are known as 'grower-producers', and represent less than 2 percent of champagne's market in Australia.
The best are spurred on by a sustainable winegrowing agenda and a quest for diversity in flavour, challenging our thoughts, and intriguing our palates.
Join us for an evening of champagne you've never experienced before and discover Champagne's greatest growers.
All champagnes will be full (100ml) pours, paired with a bespoke menu, and accompanied by expert commentary from Sara Underdown, publisher of VINE & BUBBLE Magazine, and Louella Mathews, Head Sommelier at Bibo Wine Bar.
Featuring wines from: Chartogne-Taillet, R. Pouillon, F&R Minière, Bérêche et Fils, La Rogerie and Louis Roederer.
