Calling all plant lovers! As part of Brisbane City Council's Green Heart Event Program, the Green Heart Pop-Up is coming to Mt Ommaney Centre for the first time with free native plants and Green Heart Ranger kids' packs to give away.
There'll be 500 free plants given away from 9am each morning on 31 March and 1 April while stock lasts so be quick!
While you're there, you can also chat with experts and learn simple tips and tricks to build flood resilience at home, to help you prepare for, live through and recovery quickly from flood events.
And if you've ever wondered what your household carbon footprint is you can take the Brisbane Carbon Challenge at the pop-up to learn about your household's emissions and receive tips on how to reduce your emissions and save on bills.
Bus, bike or walk to Mt Ommaney Centre and visit Council's Pop-Up near Target from 9am on 31 March and 1 April!
