You're invited to help plant park trees to beautify your suburb as part of Brisbane City Council's Greener Suburbs program. Trees make areas cooler, shadier and more attractive.
Come along to meet your neighbours, plant trees and enjoy a sausage sizzle and cold drink. Participating volunteers also receive free native plants for their own garden to further grow our urban forest. Wear sturdy covered shoes, hat and sun protection.
All new trees are carefully chosen to suit the site and local area. Planting holes will be dug beforehand and all tools supplied. Council will maintain the trees throughout their lives.
