Half of heaven synopsis

Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón is a fundamental director in Ángela Molina's career, who will be present in several of the films where she performed during the Transition years, such as Camada negra (1977), El corazón del bosque (1979) and Demons in the garden. (1982). This story takes a trip from the north to the capital, where a feminine sensitivity is the guiding thread to make the story of a woman that Angela Molina performs with the naturalness that reveals the complexity of characters she has always played.

This movie is offered by Instituto Cervantes Sydney as part of the program devoted the Spanish actress Angela Molina, who will receive the Honour Goya Award in Malaga(Spain)this March.

Ángela Molina is one of the most outstanding actresses in Spanish cinematography. She started her career in the middle of the Spanish transition and she keeps working nowadays. Her career has been marked by participation in numerous international films, of which her collaboration with Buñuel was the starting gun. On the occasion of such a brilliant career, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will award her the Goya Award of honor at the 2021 edition of these awards: «With this distinction we want to recognize the exceptional career of this colleague so loved by all for her authenticity, his undeniable talent and his special sensitivity.
