This work considers the ways cosmic forms and forces mirror the dynamics, relations and dimensions of our social worlds.
Centring on the formation and behaviour of star systems, the work uses the metaphorical qualities of interstellar movement as a way to reconsider the dynamics of human interaction, the role of the individual and the sway of the collective. The idea for this work began when reading about the revolutions of star clusters and how they form, interact, move together and eventually disperse. The work contrasts the behaviour of human systems and star systems to consider experiences of social connection, belonging and influence.
