Sydney's renowned retail hub, Market City, has come alive this Christmas with an exciting array of interactive art, social and culinary experiences, available for visitors to enjoy.
Located in the heart of Sydney's bustling Chinatown, and regarded as one of the city's most authentic Asian food destinations, locals and visitors alike can immerse themselves in the festivities at Market City, which include: an original interactive art installation created by Sydney graffiti artist Dot Matrix; immersive Christmas decorations with a social competition; and a limited-edition Christmas menu at exclusive pop-up, Tokyo Lamington.
Shoppers will be spoilt for choice too, with a number of new store openings, adding to over 100 stores already operating within the retail centre. New retailers include Cotton On Mega, Footlocker and Sharetea, ensuring visitors can find the perfect present or treat for themselves.
For foodies looking to take a break from shopping, Market City's 1909 Dining Precinct located on Level 3, offers a stellar line-up of eight deluxe Asian restaurants, including The Eight, Beijing Impression, Mr Meng Chongqing Gourmet, and more.
Ultra-convenient, Market City has more than 600 bays of undercover parking. Visitors to 1909 Dining Precinct can enjoy free parking from 6pm. It is also easily accessible by public transport including bus, light rail and train with Central and Town Hall station in close proximity. Market City is open seven days a week until late.
The Christmas artwork and decorations are free for all. To find out more, head to www.marketcity.com.au. To join the conversation, visit Facebook, Instagram or We Chat #MarketCity.
