'Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.' - IWD 2022
Join us to celebrate International Women's' Day on Tuesday 8 March 2022. With this year's theme being #breakthebias, we are hosting an intimate evening event to empower and recognise the diversity of women-led small businesses in our local community. This is an inclusive event for people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Continue to open your mind as we highlight women's' achievements and opportunities that address gender bias and inequality. The open and interactive discussion will be led by local legend Uppma Virdi, a public speaker passionate about gender parity and owner of Chai Walli, a small business that seeks to rid the world of bad chai whilst also holding strong values for equality, sustainability and community. Freshly brewed chai and wholesale nibbles and treats will be served to nourish your mind, body and soul.
What to expect at the event
We will start the evening with a yoga session, which will be open to all levels from yogi newbies to regular attendees. Please bring your own towel and mat if you would like to do yoga as we won't be providing props.
A quick mindfulness session & guided meditation by our own Uppma Virdi.
We will sit down with a nourishing cup of soul warming hot chai from the Chai Walli Chai Bar, with some yummy nibbles for our inclusive roundtable discussion.
