Have you always wanted to try watercolour painting? Or have you tried watercolour painting and found it frustrating or bewildering?
Whether you are a complete beginner or want to refresh your technique, Little Rowan Redhead can help! A painter and print-maker Rowan has been teaching art since 2017 and believes that everyone deserves a bit of art therapy.
In this introduction to watercolour, you will learn about materials required, basic watercolour techniques (such as dry on wet and wet on wet) and colour theory will be introduced.
After some play and experimentation, you will then be painting a watercolour painting of Flora. Flowers make great subjects, because of their varied shapes and colours. Rowan will bring along photo references of a number of flowers and plants which you will use to draw and paint your own little watercolour artwork!
No materials or experience required.
Bookings are essential.
