Jo Fabro and her band will take you on a rollicking blues/roots blow-out, that will be sure to take the edge of a long week, and get you on your feet, dancing to their grooving original music. The band, featuring Jo Fabro, Adam Pringle, Jerry Craib and James Hauptmann has just released their brand-new album 'Don't Make A Liar Out Of Me' to rave reviews.
Jo and her band will be joined on the night by The Tonewheels. Drawing inspiration from 1960s Rock, Blues and Boogaloo the Tonewheels deliver a soulful, yet gritty performance infused with the stylistic and iconic sounds of Guitar, Hammond organ, Bass and Drums. Their music comprises Blues and Boogaloo standards, groove-laden arrangements of 1960's pop classics and original pieces by guitarist Richard Ashby, and has all the raw, edginess of blues and in-the-pocket grooves to create a fresh and creative approach to a classic guitar and organ combo.
