Cool down this summer school holidays with free water-themed kids activities at Victoria Park / Barrambin.
Held on 9-11 and 16-18 January 2023 from 9am to 1pm each day, Kids Collective features a host of creative water play that will leave your brood smiling from ear to H2O-soaked ear - check out the full program below.
Bookings are not required - simply show up on the day and join the fun. All ages are welcome though activities are best enjoyed by kids aged 3-12 years old.
Monday 9 and 16 January
- Water Play Sports Day - Enjoy old favourites with a new twist! There's relay races with wet sponges, ball games using buckets of water and more.
- Free-Form Water Play - Let imaginations run wild - different objects will be available at this zone for kids to splash, pour, stir, scoop, squirt and create!
Tuesday 10 and 17 January
- Water Colour Art - Explore the art of water colour and create a masterpiece for your wall at home.
- Nature Painting - The landscape offers all kids need for a memorable art session. Sticks, leaves, flowers and grass will be used to create a collaborative water colour painting.
Wednesday 11 and 18 January
- Water and Music Drums - Make beautiful melodies using water-laden bowls and sieves, plus craft your very own rain stick.
- Water Exploration - Water is the perfect exploratory tool - this activity offers fun, water-based science experiments, including sailboat making.
