The annual community celebration of global icons Kylie and Dannii is coming up in the Melbourne suburb they spent their childhoods in.
The free event celebrates the music, fashion and enduring superstardom of Melbourne’s princesses of pop on the grounds of the Camberwell Rotary Sunday Market at Camberwell Junction.
In its fourth year Kylie and Dannii Day promises to be more fabulous than ever, with a program that includes drag shows, line dancing, live music, trivia and pop-inspired sustainable fashion upcycling activations.
This year’s program features an expanded music and dancing program, with special performances by the Perfectly Queer drag divas, including Della Katessen, Brenda Bressed, drag king Freddie Merkin, as well as the iconic Kylie impersonator Millie Minogue and DJ Argonaut who runs the famous Bar Kylie events across Australia. The genuine Minogue love will inspire full crowd involvement with a line dance locomotion led by Abigail Varney and Alice Glenn from Country Struts.
Fast Fashun duo Teneille Clerke and Sebastian Berto will be hosting fashion upcycling workshops with a sustainable ethos. Market attendees are invited to bring their fashion purchases and upgrade them to Minogue status with glamorous embellishments, then model them on the runway.

The iconic Camberwell Rotary Sunday Market will be on as always, with hundreds of second-hand and vintage fashion market stalls. Kylie and Dannii Day brings extra glamour to the weekend destination and a special occasion to celebrate Melbourne’s pop cultural heritage.
