This summer, after a tumultuous 2020, visitors of all ages are invited to 'make their mark' on every available surface of a dedicated gallery at the Museum of Sydney.
We are encouraging our audiences to share their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future without limits. Over nine weeks, these contributions - drawings or words - will gradually build a fascinating pictorial and literary reflection of our visitors, their communities and their city.
Three Sydney based artists have been invited to start the process with a diverse range of works from striking murals and informal street art to bold poetry. Add to artworks by Georgia Draws A House and Digby Webster and be inspired by the poetry of Gumaroy Newman.
Unleash your creative spirit and participate in the creation of an ever changing artwork.
Enjoy the gallery after hours as part of Culture Up Late. The Museum of Sydney will open 5pm-8pm every Thursday evening from 14 January until the end of March.
Please read Sydney Living Museums important COVID-19 conditions of entry before booking your ticket. From Sunday 3 January 2021, visitors must wear masks inside when visiting our museums. Find out more including any exemptions via the NSW Government Health website.
Prices and bookings available here.
