Designers on Show is part of the Australian Design Centre's Sydney Craft Week, an all Australian line-up of makers and designers, from hand felting to hand knitting, one-off jewellery incorporating pearls, resin, glass lampwork and hand-felted pieces; Eco-printing & linocut prints incorporated into clothing, artworks and homewares; original artwork on canvas, from local scenery to Australian flora and fauna inspired canvases and hand-painted ceramics; wall hangings, vessels and decorative pieces made from Palm leaves and palm flowers; custom-made leather shoes, bespoke and one of a kind millinery creations, and stain glass artworks from decorative to renovation. All our designers and makers are happy to accept custom orders.

It's a COVID registered event inside the Genya McCaffery room, on the external balcony as well as the adjacent lawn area.

The Coal Loaders Cafe is open all weekend for morning tea and light lunches.

With raised garden beds and verticals gardens, Coal loader has been featured on Gardening Australia. There's also lift access to the abandoned wharf where you can also look into the railway tunnels.
