Developed as a platform to bring Indian classical dancers together, Adavu Meetups offer a relaxed, supportive environment to connect and share a love of dance
Initially held online, the Meetups are now hosted in person every Sunday from 10.15 am at the Chandralaya studio in Melbourne.
Regardless of the style of Bharathanatyam or your level of proficiency, all dancers are welcome to practice and experiment with Adavus (the basic steps in Bharathanatyam) and enjoy.
Come along and connect with like-minded dancers, meet new friends and embrace your heritage. Explore a fresh dimension of dance through collaboration, keeping fit and improving your stamina and techniques.
