The Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival officially returns in 2021. And for the first time in 42 years the event will be held across two days in summer, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December.
On Saturday, distances include the 3km walk, 5km run and the SriLankan Airlines 10km run. The start location is at Yarra Park Path, parallel to Jolimont Station.
On Sunday, it's the Nike Half Marathon, Nike Wheelchair Marathon and Nike Melbourne Marathon, starting on Batman Avenue, near Rod Laver Arena.
The course features some of the city's most loved landmarks and finishes at the iconic MCG. The festival welcomes all ages and abilities. Whether you're running your first 5km or looking to smash a marathon personal best, there's a distance for everyone.
