Join this online event for decision makers from any and every industry who care about their organisation and their people.
The Speaker Kevin has spoken to most industries - construction, education, finance, wealth creation, wellness, pharmaceutical, nursing, aviation, transport, stevedoring, superannuation etc etc and the responses are the same as the testimonials every time from every industry whether its a boardroom of 8 people or a ballroom of 800.
Key takeaways:
If you've got a brain and a blood supply, you're susceptible to mental illness; it doesn't discriminate.
Mental Illness is normal, manageable and recoverable for the great majority of people.
Our heads only have part of the answer; we've got to listen to our hearts as well.
About the Speaker
Kevin was in the military as a combat helicopter pilot and commander for 20 years. Following several operational deployments and towards the peak of his career he contemplated suicide, suffering a breakdown due to PTSD, depression and bullying. But it wasn't the rockets or bullets that tore him apart, it was the workplace. Following his recovery, he spent the next 10 years as a Search and Rescue helicopter pilot, flight instructor and examiner.
Today, his personal mission is to lift humanity by inspiring others to find their own courage and compassion in order to enjoy the benefits these bring. He is the Mental Health Ambassador for AIRBUS Australia Pacific, a Community Ambassador for Mates4Mates and the creator of COR INFINITUS (meaning 'Infinite Courage') which brings dignity, respect and healing to the families of those who've served our nation and taken their own lives. Kevin shows that mental illness and PTSD are normal, manageable and recoverable for the great majority of people and can be the catalyst for growth.
Testimonials
Kevin shared his very real journey which is honest, compelling, emotional and very personal. I can tell you, the Squadron was captivated, you could hear a pin drop in the auditorium. I've been with these guys for five years now, I've never seen them this riveted. Kevin's presentation changed many people for the better. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for making a difference. Thank you for being an amazing ambassador. Please keep doing what you are doing, it is so important.
If your organisation ever needs a guest speaker to talk about mental health, I'll guarantee you that Kev's story will change lives. Brian Carlson, Simulator Flying Instructor KC-30A, 33 Sqn RAAF
Everyone who attended have given nothing but positive feedback and many had their own take home gems making it a fantastic success. Thanks again and we look forward to partnering with you again in the future. Kharma Stewart - HR Manager - Currumbin RSL
