Moonlight Cinema is back, bringing the nostalgia of picnics, popcorn and film-watching amongst Australia's most idyllic inner-city parklands.
The original cinema under the stars will return to Centennial Park from 9th December 2021 - 3rd April 2022, as well as locations in Western Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.
The December program includes new releases such as Dear Evan Hansen, based on the Tony-Award winning musical and family hit Clifford the Big Red Dog, as well as Hollywood blockbusters that may have been missed in lock-down, including Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson and Cruella with Emma Stone.
As Christmas approaches, a string of festive favourites will show including Love Actually, The Holiday, Home Alone and The Grinch.
Not to be missed for retro-film fans, McDonalds Sing Together sessions will also be hosted where guests can unabashedly sing along to classic hits like 'The Time of my Life' in Dirty Dancing.
Under balmy summer night skies, Moonlight Cinemas will come to life with on-site activations, food trucks, bars and the comfiest of bean beds for humans and their four-legged friends.
This summer, there are a range of exclusive packages on offer at Moonlight Cinema, Centennial Park:
Tia Maria Platinum Experience: This ultimate Moonlight experience for a truly indulgent night out for two. Sink into a premium double bean bed in an exclusive area with prime viewing. Tickets include food and beverages delivered to your seats including an exclusive grazing box by QT Hotels, featuring locally sourced charcuterie expertly curated by the award-winning QT chefs. Plus, Tia Maria Matchatini or Espresso martinis cocktails, take home blankets and Parlour Lane popcorn.
AAMI Gold Grass: For the best views and top-notch wait service, you can't go past AAMI Gold Grass. The ticket includes a deluxe bean bed situated in an exclusive area with prime viewing and waiter service.
Connoisseur Lounge: For ice-cream lovers, tickets to the Connoisseur Lounge come with a reserved bean bed in an exclusive area and a delicious Connoisseur Gourmet Ice Cream stick. Pick from a choice of decadent flavours including their latest collaboration with chocolatier KOKO Black.
Also new this season, Moonlight will launch Parlour Lane Fiesta, a Mexican-inspired food truck. Guests can grab their nachos and churros and recline happy with a Fat Bastard wine or chilled Byron Bay Larger. As a BYO venue, guests can also prepare their own picnics, bring along refreshments and enjoy one of Australia's quintessential summer experiences.
Renowned as a beloved dog-friendly night out, this season you can book the furriest member of your family a plush dog bean bed thanks to Moonlight's dog partner, K9 Natural, who will also have the hungry fur-babies covered for movie snacks.
Thanks to Green Partner Garnier, the electricity emitted from all screenings across the season will be carbon offset, through ecologically sensitive planting. Guests will be able to learn about Garnier's 'Green Beauty' commitments at the Garnier Garden Cart, which will be onsite from November 2021.
