Showcasing a collection of etching, linocut, lithography, and serigraphy, Edition Two celebrates Sydney Printmaking collective More Than Reproduction's two year anniversary and annual celebration of International Women's Day. Corroborating the versatility of print-related media and its function in both focused, and cross-disciplinary practices, this exhibition showcases new works from eighteen artists from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. Each artist offers a unique approach to printmaking, resulting in juxtaposed imageries and substrates, exemplifying a diverse sensibility towards printmaking methodologies and applications.
More Than Reproduction is a collective of Sydney-based emerging creatives with a passion for all things printmaking. We aim to celebrate and promote female and gender diverse artists, curators and creatives, with a particular focus on printmaking practices and themes of femininity, womanhood and equality.
