Live July is a cracker of an initiative from the Nillumbik Shire Council's Arts and Cultural Development team. It supports both the community and the artists involved in this time of COVID craziness that is our new reality. Celebrating the richness of some amazing creative talents, it also keeps us all emotionally connected, inspired and mentally stimulated - just what the doctor ordered during these difficult times.
For the whole month of July 2020, enjoy a program of 36 live-streamed events and 47 artists for FREE. There is something for everyone with music, dance, film, ceramics, painting, illustration, creative writing, literature, creative upcycling and more. You'll find the full program of individual events on the Facebook events page, or you could download the full program (go right to the bottom of the web page)
All events are online and streaming via the Facebook page. When you hit going on each individual event on Facebook, you'll be sent a reminder of the event, so go ahead and choose all the events you're interested in. If you've missed the first few days of events, never fear, you've still got a whole lot of days left of the month filled with entertainment. Watch Amanda demonstrating her drip painting technique on the 7th, and head out with Chris Cook on the same day and watch him work out in nature, capturing his imagery. If you miss him this time, he's on for three other dates.
Read and learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube with the beginners method. If you're patient then it can be learned in an hour.
