Join us for an introduction to Nyoongar language with award-winning teacher, Sharon Gregory.
Over six weeks you will learn Nyoongar words, pronunciation and sentence structure. You'll also learn how to produce a resource in language. This course is designed for beginners, no prior knowledge of the language is required.
About the Presenter
Sharon Gregory is a Nyoongar woman and Nyoongar language teacher. Sharon was awarded the 2021 Patji-Dawes Language Teaching Award in the Community Outreach category. The Award recognises outstanding achievements in teaching languages other than English in Australia.
