Continuations brings together a collection of sculptural reliefs made over a four-year period.
'This is my third body of work, and during its development, I became increasingly aware of how my responses to social and environmental change have evolved over time,' says Paul Kay.
'Alongside this outward attention, I've also found myself drawn back to the domestic - it's spaces, routines, quiet tensions, and the long tradition in art of interpreting everyday interiors.
'An ongoing engagement with mid-to-late Modernism continues to shape my work, offering a framework through which these broader concerns can coexist.
'Most of these pieces are shaped from a single block of wood, mechanically reduced in stages and finished by hand, a process that allows for both control and variability.'
