It's time to pop the Prosecco and get ready to embrace some new energy.

We're all ready for it and off the back of the last couple of years we decided it was time to dig deep and search far and wide to bring together a NYE line up who will take us into 2022 the best way we know how, dancing and forgetting all our worries.

Come December 31, we'll take over the whole of The Factory Theatre with international guests (yes, you read that right) playing alongside some national treasures across four stages.

Get your fit, your friends and your ticket to one of the finest - and most significant - dances we've had the honour of presenting to you.

Picnic's New Year's Eve party with...

  • Soichi Terada

  • Ruby Savage

  • Mike Who + Daniel Lupica

  • Jensen Interceptor

  • Human Movement

  • E Fishpool

  • C.Frim

  • Ben Fester

  • Ayebatonye

  • Andy Garvey

  • Air Max '97

  • Adi Toohey

  • Barney in the Tunnel

  • Rydeen + X-Fling

  • Peace

Hosted by Sarah Jessica Carpark, Millie Sykes, StellyG, Kelly Lovemoster, Honour

The good times are guaranteed at this one. How could it not be when you have the world's smiliest music man, Soichi Terada headlining the party. We saw Soichi Terada do a life-affirming live house set back at Picnic's 8th Birthday so we know that his NYE set will bring so much joy. He's also about to drop his first album in 25 years and we cannot wait to hear what he's got planned for us. He's headlining the main stage and he will be joined by Picnic favourites Ayebatonye, Adi Toohey, Ben Fester and super special family and friends we're excited to announce.

We'll have out of this world sounds coming from the Fuse Box for the night with Jenson Interceptor, Andy Garvey, Air Max '97 and C.Frim pumping out visceral techno, thunderous electro, 90's breaks and EBM. NTS Radio's Ruby Savage will be headlining the Courtyard with her mix of eclectic grooves and life giving sounds sourced from all around the world. Our outdoor stage is running from 3pm to 9pm and Ruby will be joined by local heroes Mike Who + Daniel Lupica and Peace dishing out music to get that new year's euphoria started on the right foot. And rounding out the party we've got live sets from E Fishpool and Barney in the Tunnel and DJ sets from Human Movement and Rydeen + X-Fling in the Factory Floor to satisfy all your rave needs.

Keep an eye out for our friends Sarah Jessica Carpark, Millie Sykes, StellyG, Kelly Lovemoster and Honour who will be hosting the night, bringing all the glitz and glam a New Year's Eve party could want and deserve.

Maybe we say this a lot, but honestly with every breath we take… This one's for you Sydney. It's been a while since we've celebrated NYE like this in the city and if there was ever a year for it, we hope you agree: this is it!
