Playable Streets takes you on a break away from reality to spend some time on a surreal desert Island. The Island is surrounded by an ocean of strange creatures that you will dream up and draw from the depths of your imagination.
Through interactive projections, your drawings will then become digital creatures that will be let loose in the ArtPlay Gallery as part of the Islands installation this August.
All the children who participate in this online workshop will be invited to join at the Islands opening in mid-August where you will see your designs come to life. You will be able to explore enchanting islands of sound that are activated by simply walking or rolling across the floor, and collaborate with friends and strangers in an interactive experiment with light, sound and musical play.
