Build your portable paradise with Stefania Riccardi.
We all have more than one place that we call home; private paradises that mean a lot to us. Join us for this workshop where we will be building 3D paper foldable sets of houses that tell the story of our many homes.
This workshop is divided into two sessions:
Session one - 24 February at Chatswood Library
We will choose from an array of designs, we'll discuss techniques and what we want to express in our individual projects. We will start construction using templates provided by Stefania and familiarise ourselves with the resources available in the Library.
Session two - 2 March at Incinerator Art Space
We meet again to complete our projects and have an informal session to talk about each other's work. Participants will have the option of taking their work with them or leaving it on exhibition at the Incinerator until 17 March.
Paper, paint, cutting tools will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own tool kit and special paper.
Willoughby City Council is gratefully acknowledged for the provision of the Community Program grant that has made the free delivery of this workshop possible.
Bookings essential.
Contact Stefania on 0405 702 165 or stefania.riccardi.au@gmail.com to RSVP.
