Queens, long known for its jazz history, was once home to legends such as Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. Based on the Queens Jazz Trail Map that takes visitors past the many places of interest for jazz lovers, this series presents a handful of free Thursday evening concerts (and one on a Sunday afternoon) across parks in Queens. Bring your own blanket, lawn chair and friends and enjoy dancing and fun.
