Queerswich is a free family fun-day held in the heart of the Ipswich CBD that celebrates love, pride, diversity, inclusion and the LGBTQIA+ community, their friends, families and allies.

Queerswich will take place in Tulmur Place, Nicholas Street Precinct, Ipswich
in the heart of the city's newly redeveloped CBD, on Saturday 3 August 2023, 1pm to 6pm.

Queerswich 2023 will feature:

Live entertainment from fabulous drag queens, comedians, musicians and DJ.
A showcase of LGBTQIA+ community support and service groups.
An LGBTQIA+ interest group exhibition.
'Friends of Dorothy' Art Show.
Paws for Pride Puppy Pageant.
All the Colours of the Rainbow kids' area including diversity story time, children's entertainers and frolicking fun activities.
Artisan and craft markets.
Food trucks - all the food trucks!

This inaugural annual festival is expected to attract approximately
10 000 attendees from across Ipswich and South East Qld.

Ipswich is a rich and diverse city with a growing LGBTQIA+ community.
It's time to celebrate Pride and raise queer visibility in the region.

They invite members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their families and their friends, to enjoy a free family-friendly day out in our beautiful city, celebrating all people, inclusive of their sexual identity, gender, family dynamic and lived experience.
