The Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) course helps to promote safety (harm-minimisation) in venues where there are gaming machines, including how to recognise gambling problems and addiction.
If you are looking for work in any establishment that provides Gambling Services in NSW, it is a government requirement for you to have completed a Liquor and Gaming NSW-approved RCG course.
We accept international students as we are a Commonwealth Register of Institutions & Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) approved.
The course includes: SITHGAM001 - Provide responsible gambling services
What to expect?
Apply for a RCG course and undertake face-to-face training at a Registered Training Organization (RTO) approved by Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW).
Please bring your ID, face mask and a pen
The course fee will already include the cost for your NSW competency card.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive an interim certificate emailed to you by the following Monday, 5pm. Which is valid for 5 years and you can work for 90 days with the interim certificate.
You will be required to take the interim certificate to a service NSW to apply for a NSW competency card.
Renew your NSW competency card every 5 years.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
Please note that the RCG course has a combination of plain English, photos, videos and questions to ensure learners have the best chance to complete their course.
If you believe you may require assistance to complete the course due to your Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills, please contact Kenvale College on +61 2 9314 6213 or via email shortcourses@kenvale.edu.au to discuss your training needs before enrolling into the course.

nb: All attendees will be issued a Nationally Recognized Statement of Attainment, Liquor & Gaming NSW Interim RCG Certificate, and can apply for a Competency Card (by OLGR NSW)
