The prestigious Collectables Fair and Exhibition is held once a year. This year the Collectables Fair is being held on the Saturday and Sunday of the June long weekend at the Port Adelaide Recreation Centre, opposite Harts Mill in historic Port Adelaide. Tickets at the door.
The Fair draws sellers and collectors from all states of Australia and usually New Zealand. There are expected to be more than 150 large exhibits and stalls selling and buying collectables.
There will be a wide range of collectables for sale including coins, porcelain, jewellery and every kind of collectable.
The associated exhibition includes coins, glassware, 1960s treasures, bottles, lids, tins, garagenalia, and other collectables. A large number of entries have been received from interstate. Some collectables on show are world-class.
Something for everyone. An entry fee applies for the Collectables Fair with accompanied children under 12 free. The Show is presented by the Adelaide Historical Bottle Club Inc.
