Learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator to create a laser cut key-ring or bag-tag
Led by an experienced facilitator in the Darling Square Library makerspace, this workshop is a great introduction to laser cutting using Adobe Illustrator software.
You'll be guided to personalize a range of fun templates using Adobe Illustrator to make a key-ring or bag-tag. Once you're happy with your final design, we'll laser cut or etch it for you. You'll receive your design during the class and can add the clasps or cords to make it hangable.
What you'll learn
Basic digital design using Illustrator
Basic laser cutting
What you'll take home
1 laser cut key-ring or bag-tag in plywood or perspex.
If your design is not ready by the end of the workshop we will mail it to you.

Cost: $35 Full/ $28 Concession* per person
Bookings and class size: Maximum 12 people - bookings are essential
Suitable for: Ages 13-16. Parental permission is required.
Experience level: Beginner workshop with no required knowledge
Wear: Enclosed shoes and no loose-fitting clothing or jewellery

Eligibility for concession price: The ticket purchaser must hold a valid NSW Pensioner, Senior or full-time student card. Valid proof of concession to be shown in advance or in person at the workshop. If a valid proof of concession is not provided, the full rate will be required to be paid.
