Create imaginary worlds using contemporary watercolour painting techniques in this fun school holiday workshop.
With guidance from our experienced tutor, students will explore painting with watercolour on artists quality paper using unconventional materials and painting techniques, while learning secret alchemical techniques to create ethereal textures and effects.
Swirly planets, moons, alien landscapes and floating worlds - what can you create? Participants will only be limited by their imagination in this fun workshop exploring the wonderful possibilities of watercolour.
Bookings and class size: Maximum 12 participants
Suitable for: Ages 8-12 years (Parents are required to sign their child in and out of the makerspace and stay in the library while their child participates in the session)
Experience level: Suitable for beginners - no experience necessary
Wear: Enclosed shoes and no loose-fitting clothing or jewellery
Bring: Yourself - all materials are provided
Cost: $35 Full / $28 *Concession per child

Eligibility for concession price: The ticket purchaser must hold a valid NSW Pensioner, Senior or full-time student card. Valid proof of concession to be shown in advance or in person at the workshop. If valid proof of concession is not provided, the full rate will be required to be paid.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. Cancellations made within 7 days of the course start will not be refunded. See terms and conditions here.
