You will learn how to save seeds from fruits like tomatoes and papayas, herbs like basil and parsley, and native plants like kangaroo grass. In spring, we will meet again to make seed balls: a simple and effective way to make sure your seeds will grow, whether on a street verge, in a garden or a pot on your windowsill.
This is the first of several events part of a Mapping Edges' project in Green Square. We will document and map examples of community, group or individual activities that support and improve the local Green Square environment. In particular, we'll be looking for initiatives that care for place, build community connections, and contribute to making the neighbourhood more sustainable.
