Keyim Ba in English means, 'very beautiful'. The band has enormous energy, giving tradition a modern twist that never fails to fill the dance floor.

This brilliant 8 piece band has an intoxicating upbeat sound that twists influences of reggae, funk & rap into West African grooves.

Led by charismatic, Sibo Bangoura from Guinea, KEYIM BA brings together several of Australia's best West African musicians.

A passionate advocate for the music of his homeland, Sibo Bangoura is one of Australia's leading West African percussionists.

Born into a Griot (musicians) family in Conakry, Republic of Guinea, as a child he was surrounded by the traditions and magic of music - by virtue of his talent & dedication to his music, Sibo came to travel the world & make Sydney, Australia his home.
