Smirnoff is taking bands back to where it all started with SMIRNOFF ORIGINS.

It takes a lot for a brand to make it, and the right small live music venue giving a band a go can change everything. To support the live music industry and celebrate those venues, Smirnoff Origins is taking big Aussie bands back to where they came from.

First up, The Presets (DJ Set), taking over Sydney's Club 77 on Thursday Feb 2, 2023.

An intimate, one-night-only gig, Smirnoff Origins featuring The Presets (DJ Set) will take the band back to the venue that gave them a chance before they got big. And in the spirit of creating the next generation of musicians, they will hand-select an upcoming artist to be their support act to give them their big break.

After years without a stage to perform on, a lack of opportunity to hone their live performance skills, find fans and make a living through their passions, Smirnoff Origins will create an opportunity for the next generation of artists. To give the emerging artists a leg up, Smirnoff will also be supporting them with a $5,000 performance fee, a feature article in Rolling Stones Magazine, social media amplification through Smirnoff and Rolling Stone Instagram and Facebook channels, plus more.
