This is your chance to learn more about social enterprises and connect with like-minded, socially-conscious individuals on Saturday 16 August at UTS. Meet the passionate people behind businesses that put people and planet first. You'll find high-quality, fair trade products and services, experience engaging activations and workshops, and support the growth of a fairer economy and society.
Bring your kids, neighbours, colleagues, friends and family along for a day of market stalls, interactive workshops and inspiring talks.
Tickets to the festival are FREE.
What to expect
Sample products, purchase gifts, talk to and learn from dozens of social enterprises, all in one spot. Learn skills in the free workshops and talks. Get personalised advice on making positive impact choices for individuals and businesses. Try and buy from thousands of products that put people and planet first.
Festival attendees can know that every purchase made is helping to create a positive social or environmental impact.
Through thousands of small acts, social enterprises and the people that buy their products and services can change the game - it’s a switch for good.
Market Stalls: Discover a wide range of products and services including jewellery, kitchenware, furniture and home décor, books and games plus a range of food and beverage stalls including an onsite cafe run by Hotel Etico.
Workshops and Activations: Participate in hands-on activities designed to educate and inspire including waste-free cooking demonstrations, mobile device repair, climate action activities for kids, CPR demonstrations and more.
Expert Panels and Big Ideas: Hear from social enterprises on how they’re helping people and the planet, using the latest innovations to create a cleaner, greener, fairer and kinder world. Learn about textile recycling, renewable energy, neurodivergence, disability support and inclusion, leadership and wellbeing programs.
Getting there
We suggest travelling to the venue via train, bike or foot. There are (limited) bike racks located on Mary Ann Street.
UTS Business School is located a 5 minute walk from Central Station (train/metro/bus).
